Apple M0110A - Mitsumi KAM

The first keyboard post here! A platinum M0110A with Mitsumi KAM (Mitsumi standard mechanical).

It came essentially new with the exception of a dead controller, which I swapped with a Pi Pico running KMK. I very lightly lubed the sliders to reduce the rattle on top-out. I also spring swapped with some springs from Hua-Jie four-tab clones. The case is textured ABS and the keycaps are dye-sublimated PBT with the same fine stock texture that the later ASK/AEK(II) keyboards have, meaning despite the material the keycaps will shine quicker than 'normally' textured keycaps.

Mitsumi KAM are extremely interesting switches. The Type I switches are moulded for two switchplates from the factory, and that extra space leaves enough room for a mantis click-leaf to squeeze in where the second switchplate would go.

Mitsumi KAM are great linears - they are smooth and feel satisfying to type on. The stock sound is rather rattly, but with a little lube they sound quite nice, with the singing of their pingy springs. They are a worthy match against Alps SKCC and I enjoy them a lot.
